Jimmy Gregory

Jimmy Neil Gregory, 75, of Stony Point, NC passed away, Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Jimmy was born January 25, 1946 in Iredell County and was the son of the late Arthur Glenn Gregory and Dela Goble Gregory. He was a graduate of Celeste Henkle High School and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is married to Mary Faye Hammer Gregory, who survives. Together they were members of Beulah Baptist Church and he was the owner of Gregory’s Photography.

In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by three sisters, Marie G. Houston of Statesville, Shirley G. Shaver of Statesville, Wanda G. Potts of Statesville and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Ray Gregory, Espy Paul Gregory, Glenn Arthur Gregory and three sisters, Jean G. Parker, Margaret G. Ashley and Betty G. Lippard.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Friday, January 28, 2022 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Baptist Church Cemetery in Stony Point, NC with Rev. Bill Mason officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 1:00-2:00pm at the church.
