Jerry Wayne Holland

Jerry Wayne Holland, 66, of Harmony, passed away, Monday, July 1, 2019 at Autumn Care of Statesville, NC.

Born February 4, 1953 in Harmony, NC he was the son of the late R. B. Holland and Pauline Rash Holland.

Jerry attended Union Grove and North Iredell High Schools, and was self-employed for many years with Holland’s Floor Covering as a carpet installer. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening and taking the dogs out for walks.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Little Joe Holland.

Jerry is survived by a son, Aaron Holland of Harmony; a granddaughter, Savannah Norman; 3 sisters: Betty H. Bennett and husband David of Statesville, Jane H. Sweet and husband Gary of Taylorsville, Becky Richardson and husband Buster of Statesville; 2 brothers: Charles Holland and wife Connie of Statesville and R. G Holland of Nevada.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 5, 20019 at Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Joey Tomlin and Pastor Harold Salmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 at the church.
