Jerry Franklin "Frank" Byers Jr.

Jerry Franklin Byers, Jr., 69, of Huntersville, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Glenwood Rehab & Nursing Home in Mooresville.

Frank was born in Iredell County on December 11, 1955, to the late Jerry Franklin Byers, Sr. and Joy Stewart Byers, who survives.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University and worked as a salesman in the aircraft industry. He enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Kathryn Byers; brother, Jeff Byers (Janet); several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, at 2:00 pm at New Bethany Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Mason will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
