Jeffery Lee Holton

Jeffery Lee Holton, 65, of Statesville, passed away, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Gordon Hospice House.

Jeff was born August 5, 1955 in Iredell County and was the son of the late Luther Lorenzo Holton and Lucy Dobson Holton. He was a graduate of North Iredell High School, was a member of Providence UMC and owned a small diary and cheese operation. He enjoyed music, being outdoors and animals. He was well known for his quick wit and famous one-liners.

He is survived by two children, Matthew Boyd Holton (Natalie) of New York, Lindsey Kate Holton of Durham; one brother, Tom Holton of Statesville and one nephew, Johnny Holton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Renny and John Holton.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
