Jeanne Cavin Brown

Jeanne Cavin Brown, 68, of Statesville, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Jeanne was born on September 5, 1956, in Iredell County, to the late Moffat K. Brown and Gertrude Padget Brown. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School, and she worked as a home health care aid for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin “Keith” Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chad Ervin (fiancé, Summer Chilton); sister, Louise Brown Murdock; niece. Amanda Herring; nephews, Jody and Monty Murdock.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 1, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Matthew Harrold officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
