Jean Jarvis

Jean Brady Jarvis, of Statesville, was taken by the hand of the Lord to a calmer, gentler place on September 17,2024. Born September 14,1954 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of James A. Brady and Betty Waugh Brady. She was a member of Bethlehem Church in Statesville and an Office Assistant at Brady Printing Company. In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her husband Rodney Jarvis, they were married July 27,1996.

Jean is survived by her sister Louise Brady McGinnis and husband Howell “Andy” McGinnis of Pensacola, Her niece Sara Wiggins and husband Jery Wiggins and great nephews Andrew James Wiggins and Luke Michael Wiggins of Pensacola. Also, her nephew Scott McGinnis of Portland, Texas with her great nephew Beau McGinnis. Jean loved her dog children so much; she would cook her own dog food for them. She would always adopt a dog in need and give unconditional love. Jean had her” dry wit” personality! She inherited it from her mother.

A Memorial Service will be held a 10:00 am on Thursday, September 26,2024 at Bethlehem Church with Pastor Matthew Nichols and Rev. Cowles Bristol officiating the service.
