Janice (Millsaps) Teague

Janice Millsaps Teague, 75, of Statesville, NC, died peacefully in her sleep on November 17th, 2023. Janice was born in Statesville on August 14th, 1948 to Virgil Millsaps and Irene Givens Millsaps, and was the 10th of 11 children. Janice attended Central School and Mitchell Community College. She worked for Boeing, NBC, the Balloon Works (currently Firefly Balloons), Sara-Lee Corporation, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Department, and Goodwill. Janice was preceded in death by not only her parents, but by her siblings James Ray Millsaps, Julia Mae Bailes, Gwendola Mason, JoAnn Patterson, and Lois Hutchings. She is survived by siblings Wilma Dean Oliver, Vaughn Millsaps, Douglas Millsaps, David Millsaps, and Ronald Millsaps. She is also survived by her children Marcus Edwin Dial, JanDeana Ruth Starnes, Tileatha Rae Lynn, and Amanda Lynae Dial. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The celebration of life for Janice will be held at Rocky Hill Baptist Church (823 Mountain View Rd, Statesville, NC, 28625) on Saturday, December 9th at 3:30pm.
