Janice (Myers) Dean

Janice Myers Dean, 77, of Statesville, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, at her home.

Janice was born on August 27, 1945, in Hoke County, North Carolina, daughter of the late C.H. Myers and Arlene Lawson Money. Janice worked as a pharmacy Technician for many years.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Foreston Dean and siblings, Ronnie Money and Jerry Adams.

Those left to cherish Mrs. Dean’s memory include her children, Sheila Dean Chenevey (Ed), Jay Dean Jr. (Amanda), step-son, Michael Dean (Stephanie), grandchildren, Josh Cranford (Georgeanna), Koty Dean (Sydney), Tori Cagle (Joel) and great grandchildren, Karmen Cranford, Warren Dean, Natalie Flores, Nathan Flores, Gabby Flores, Winnie Cagle and Jasper Cagle. Also surviving are brother, Donnie Money (Pet) and sister-in-law, Bertha Adams.

Private funeral services will be held at Fairview Baptist Church with Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Scott Eanes will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church at 349 Turnersburg Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625.
