Janet Whiting White

Janet Whiting White, age 66, of Huntersville, NC, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. She was the daughter of the late John Brockington and Hilda Barnes Whiting Reid.

A graduate of Statesville Senior High School, she was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Mooresville. Janet dearly loved her family and her grand puppies. She was a clothing connoisseur and loved trips to the beach.

Janet is survived by one daughter, Jennifer White (Jay); one son, Brandon White (Bobby Cook); two sisters, Jackie Emery (Tim) and Barbara Hedrick (Ritchie); as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Russell Whiting; one niece, Amber Davis; and one nephew, Thomas Emery.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Mike Bivens officiating.
