James "Larry" Adams

James “Larry” Adams, of Stony Point, was called to meet Jesus and get his wings on Friday, January 5, 2024. We are all sure his wife, Ginger, was there to meet him at the gates.

Larry was the son of the late Thomas Ransom Adams and Helen Rimmer Adams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virgina “Ginger” Skinner Adams, his sisters, Jewel Adams Bicknell, Catherine Adams Collishaw and Betty Ann Seymore O’Brian.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Tommy Adams (Ruth), his sister, Jane Adams (Barry), his three children, Nancy Adams, Michael Adams (Sandra) and Donna Adams Perkins (Leigh Ann). Also surviving are his six grandchildren, David Benge (Rosa), Jamie Benge (Jessalyn), Tiffany Benge Beasley (Casey), Noah Perkins, Olivia Perkins and Karson Perkins, and his great grandchildren, Erin Benge, Alexa Benge, Ryker Beasley, David Torres-Alvares and Jaxon Benge. Survivors also include numerous nieces and nephews and his special friend, Patricia Keene.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
