Jack Edward Bass

Jack Edward Bass, 74, of Troutman, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022.

Jack was born in Iredell County, September 4, 1947, the son of the late Earl Jackson Bass and Frances Wallace Bass.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Wright.

Those left to cherish Jack’s memory, include his wife, Sudie McClain Bass, his son Edward (Eddie) Bass, his granddaughter, Crissy Bass, his sister, Doris Lytton (Tommy), his brother, Billy Bass (Joan), and many nieces and nephews that he was very fond of.

A funeral service with full military honors will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel, Mark Pitts will officiate.  The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 pm.

Those wishing to make memorials are asked to consider, American Legion Post 401, Troutman, NC or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
