Irma Lassiter

Feb. 21, 1932 - Jan. 22, 2015 Irma Edwards Lassiter, 82, of Troutman, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was born on February 21, 1932 in Iredell County to the late Jessie Marion and Sallie Meekins Edwards. Mrs. Lassiter loved traveling to the mountains and sold Avon for over 30 years. She is survived by her nieces, Norma (Don) Bok and Jo Ann Robinson; nephews, Michael and William Patrick Edwards; and special friend, Wanda Kuehneman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Marion and Gerald Edwards. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26 at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27 at Crystal Waters Baptist Church with the Rev. Les Pennell officiating. Entombment will immediately follow the service at Iredell Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Crystal Waters Baptist Church, 212 Shiloh Road, Statesville, NC 28677.
