Ila Virginia Bryant Munday

Ila Virginia Bryant Munday, 92, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her home.

Ila was born July 28, 1933, in Darlington, SC, and was the daughter of the late James R. Wilson and Betty Bryant Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Munday.

Those left to cherish Ila’s memory are her daughter, Suzanne Stewart; her son, Barry “Dean” Munday; grandchildren, Steve Parker (Jessica), and Ella and Zoe Munday; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Parker, Laicey Parker, Camden Parker and Jalin Parker.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. John Parks officiating.

Arrangements for Mrs. Munday are in the care of Troutman Funeral Home.
