Howard Charles Moyer, Jr.

Howard Charles Moyer, Jr, 76, of Charlotte, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, in his home.

Howard was born on November 23, 1947, in Berrien Springs, Michigan to the late Howard Charles Moyer, Sr “Herb” and Isabelle Yost Moyer. He attended Berrien Springs Schools in Michigan and was employed by Clark Equipment in Michigan and later was transferred to Statesville, NC.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of thirty-eight years, Sharon Josey Moyer, his children, Michele Moyer of GA, Mandy Mangione (Bruce) of GA, Mark Moyer (Pamela) of IA and Kelly Peacock (Craig) of Asheboro, NC. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Nick, Trevor, Peighton (Joshua), Madison, Bailey, Connor and Julie Anne.

Private family funeral services will be held Sunday at Troutman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Faith Church Cemetery of Statesville.

The family has requested to consider donations to Faith Church Cemetery, 403 Barry Oak Rd. Statesville, NC, to the care of the Moyer family.

Although he was fully aware that his illness was incurable, he remained cheerful while bravely facing the long struggle.
