Henry Franklin "Frank" Hinson

March 17, 1944 - Sept. 19, 2010

Henry Franklin "Frank" Hinson, 66, of Mooresville passed away peacefully from lung cancer on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at his residence.

Born on March 17, 1944 in Iredell County, he was the son of the late John Lee and Elsie Johnson Hinson. He was retired from Aeroquip as a coordinator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert "Bobby" Scott Hinson.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Livengood Hinson; two sons, John Talmage Hinson of Waynesboro, Va. and Henry Franklin Hinson, Jr. and wife, Dedra, of Grottoes, Va; two daughters, Bonnie Hinson Walker of Nashville, NC and Annette Hinson Fleming and husband, Frankie Len, of Mooresville; one brother, Bobby Lee Hinson and wife, Charlotte, of FL; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 22 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel. Services celebrating Frank's life will follow at 4:00 with the Rev. Andrea Conder officiating.
