Heather Leanne Taylor

Heather Leanne Taylor, 47, of Cleveland, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, surrounded by family at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

Heather was born on January 21, 1979, in Greensboro, NC, to Delores Willams and the late Archie Bunton. Heather grew up in Greensboro and graduated from Eastern Guilford High School. She went on to serve in the US Navy. After service Heather worked as a Dental Assistant. Heather later went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Heather was recognized for her strong commitment to family and her dedication to her faith. She found joy in simple pleasures, including trips to the beach, gardening, and spending cherished time with her loved ones.

Heather is survived by her husband, Timothy John Taylor; two daughters, Angelina Summer Hannah and Avril Skye Wilson; son, Timothy John Taylor Jr.; son-in-law, Justin Lee Hannah; two brothers, Thomas Jason Bunton (Carrie) and Robert Coy Bunton (Lori); and mother, Delores Darlene Williams. She was preceded in death by her father, Archie Bunton; grandparents, Charlie Bunton, Victoria Chrisman, Harry Williams and Julia Reid; and cousin, Dalton Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Society Baptist Church, 879 Garden Valley Rd., Statesville, NC, 28625. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm with a private service to follow.
