Hazel Darr Davis

Oct. 5, 1927 - Apr. 23, 2013 Hazel Darr Davis, 85, of Troutman passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville. She was born in Iredell County on October 5, 1927 to the late Sallie Murdock and William Alva Darr. She was a graduate of Troutman High School and Mitchell Community College and retired as a legal secretary from Raymer, Lewis & Eisele in Statesville. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay Davis; and her sister, Thelma Darr Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Davis; daughter, Alice Susan Davis; son, John Keith Davis; two sisters and three brothers. Interment services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 in the Troutman United Methodist Church cemetery. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Troutman with the Rev. Harvey Mozolak officiating. A visitation for family and friends will immediately follow the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Pallbearers for the interment will be Matt Cash, Jeff Cash, Mark Cash, Kevin Davis, Chris Chappell and William Cash. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, P. O.
