Harold Lloyd Brown

Harold Lloyd Brown, 82, of Harmony, passed away September 16, 2023 at the Gordon Hospice House.

Harold was born November 5, 1940 in Warrenton, NC and was the son of the late Paul Wade Brown and Mabel Johnson Collins Brown. He was a graduate of Troutman High School and in 1962, he married Ann Summers Brown, who survives. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church and was a retired Truck Driver for Douglas & Sons. Inc.

In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by one son, Lane Harold Brown (Nina) of Harmony; one daughter, Lori Brown Ketchie (Randell) of Statesville; six grandchildren, Dylan Brown (Brooke), Dallas Brown, Keri Ketchie, Megan Ketchie, Hunter Ketchie, Davis Brown and two sisters, Hazel Willis (Paul) of Kenbridge, VA and Holly Prue of Cambridge, MD.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Shearin, Earl Shearin and one sister, Violet Rose Shearin.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Tomlin and Rev. Dennis Shaw officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00-11:00 am before the service.
