Hampton Vincent "Vince" Cason

Hampton Vincent “Vince” Cason, 75, of Statesville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at his home.

Vince was born October 18, 1950, in St. Petersburg, FL, to the late Harold Lamar Cason and Marjorie Pearl Goforth Hoolihan. He was a Harley-Davidson Master Technician and the owner of Good As Gold Motorcycle Shop.

In addition to his parents, Vince was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Tyler Cason and siblings, Cheryl Lee Cason Pillau, Mark Edward Slack and Keith Lamar Cason.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ruth Morrison-Cason; children, Chrystal Edith Cason McCullough, Raymond Keith Cason (Kelly), and Susan Joy Cason Cox (Rodney); brother, Michael Francis Stockwell; grandchildren, Nick, Marie, Grace, Austin, Ariana, Casey, Abigail, Rebekah and Jhenna; great-grandchildren, J.R., Michael, Nikki Lynn, Greeleigh, Paisley and Nathaniel.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 28, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Iredell Adult Day Service, 502 Brevard Street, Statesville, NC 28677.
