Mrs. Hallie Johnson Robinson, 85, of Mooresville, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. She was born in Wilkes County on September 4, 1925 to the late John Henry and Nancy Luffman Johnson. Before her retirement, she was a sewing machine operator with Troutman Industries. She was married to the late Filo Pinkney Robinson who passed away on May 31, 2011. She is survived by a daughter, Judy R. Sipes (Jim) of Mooresville; a sister, Ina Mae Clontz of Troutman; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elsie Hinson and Ennis Cook and four brothers, Walter, Russell, Marvin and Arvil Johnson. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Troutman Funeral Home on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Iredell Memorial Park with the Rev. Andrea Conder and the Rev. Chris Fitzgerald officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rocky Mount United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1739 Perth Road, Mooresville, N.
