Graham Lee Mullis, 83, of Troutman passed away, Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Gordon Hospice House.
Graham was born June 24, 1940 in Iredell County and was the son of the late Raymond Lee Mullis and Matoka Ostwalt Mullis. He was a graduate of Troutman High School and served in the US Army for 2 years in Korea and later in Germany during the Berlin Crisis. On April 9, 1966, Graham married Ruth Hodge Mullis, who survives. He was a member of Troutman Baptist Church and the Troutman Masonic Campbell Lodge #374. He retired from Iredell Memorial Hospital after 50 years as the Maintenance Supervisor. He loved cars and never met a stranger.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sisters, Terri Crosby (David) of Statesville, Gilda Pryor (Ed) of Troutman, Amanda Weiser of Troutman and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening February 15, 2024 from 5:00-6:00pm at Troutman funeral Home, followed by a memorial service conducted by Rev. John Stevenson. Masonic rites will be conducted by Campbell Lodge #374. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the National VA Cemetery in Salisbury with full military honors.
