Glenn Pyatt

February 23, 1961 - April 17, 2017 Donald Glenn Pyatt, affectionately known as Glenn, 56, of Troutman, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC. Glenn was born on February 23, 1961 in Mecklenburg County, NC to Johnnie Glenn Pyatt and the late Roxie Ann Hollifield Pyatt. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Pyatt. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathy Wilson Pyatt; daughters, Whitney Lynn Pyatt and Caitlin Morgan Pyatt, father, Johnnie Glenn Pyatt; sister, Martha Dorsey and husband Tommy, and nephew, Tyler Dorsey. Glenn loved to go hunting and fishing. He also loved being Strawboss over his friends while "Big Jaking." His family will always cherish his memory as "the best Dad in the world." The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel. The memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Larry Gregg officiating.
