Glenn A. Moore

March 13, 1942 - July 24, 2016 Glenn A. Moore, age 74, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Mr. Moore was born on March 13, 1942 in Statesville, NC. He was a 1960 graduate of Scotts High School in Scotts, NC and a 1965 graduate of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. He worked for Allis Chalmers Company with twenty-eight years of service in sales and service. He also worked for Long Manufacturing Company in Tarboro, NC and then Tennessee Cooperative and Belarus. He was an avid fisherman and dog lover. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence R. and Nonnie Daniels Moore, brother, Rayford Moore, sister-in-law, Mary Katherine Moore. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Linda Goodson Moore, Flowery Branch, GA; children, Glenda and Rich Robinson and daughter, Tara Robinson, Mooresville, NC, Mark and Michele Moore, and their children, Bryce, Luke, Corrine and Matthew Moore, Buford, GA, Eric and Chelle Moore, and their children, Kayla and Ryan Moore, Bishop, GA, Erin and Stephanie Moore, and their children, Zachary, Nathan, Noah and Joshua Moore, Cumming, GA; granddaughter, Alden Alexa Moore, Flowery Branch, GA; brother, Clyde and Jo Moore, Statesville, NC, Harold Moore, Southaven, MS; sisters, Doris Buchannan, Saginaw, TX; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Iredell Memorial Park, 2304 Shelton Ave., Statesville, NC 28677. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity or N.E. GA Hospice, 2150 Limestone Parkway Ste 222, Gainesville, GA 30501. Family and friends are invited to a celebration following the graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at the Marriott Courtyard, Statesville, NC.
