Glen Douglas Fettes

Glen Douglas Fettes, 77, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Gordon Hospice House.

Born in Milford, CT on April 15, 1949, he was the son of the late Frank L. Fettes and Irene S. Fettes.

In addition to his parents, Glen was also preceded by his sister-in-law, Joan R. Fettes.

Glen was an avid golfer, loved fly-fishing at the Housatonic River in Connecticut and enjoyed cross-country motorcycles rides, visiting forty-eight states, with his valued friends. He was also a life-long fan of UConn Men’s Basketball and New York Football Giants.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Shaun D. Fettes (Kaitlyn Forte), of Chapin, South Carolina; daughter Casey L. Fettes of Raleigh, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Ella Leanne Fettes, and the mother of his children and life-long companion, Laura “Peach” Reid.

Glen is also survived by his siblings, Karen N. McGarry (Joe), Scott C. Fettes (Sunny) and Frank D. Fettes; and several extended family and friends.

Memorial services for Glen will be held at a later date.
