Gerry Lou (Duncan) Scott

Gerry Lou Duncan Scott, 86, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Autumn Care of Statesville.

Mrs. Scott was born May 21, 1935 in Statesville, NC and was the daughter of the late John Houston Duncan and Tressie Etta Vance Millsaps Duncan. She was a graduate of Central High School and on March 20, 1954, she married Donald Lewis Scott, who survives. She was a lifetime member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church and previously was the #2 Mary Kay Consultant in this area. She never met a stranger, loved make up and clothes and was always put together.

She is survived by three children, Donna Scott of Statesville, Kevin Scott (Betty) of Salisbury, Lou Ellen Scott of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Scott Carter, Aaron Scott, Tammy Perdue (Eric), Karen Weston, David Scott (Crystal); one great granddaughter, Makayla Wike; one brother, Randy Duncan (Nancy) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Monday, December 6, 2021 at Rocky Hill Baptist Church. The family will visit with friends following the service. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
