Frank Triplette Overcash

Mr. Frank Triplette Overcash, 78, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born September 23, 1932 in Iredell County, the son of the late Locke Triplette and Mary Sowers Overcash. On October 25, 1953 he married the late Mildred Clanton Overcash who preceded him in death on June 16, 2002. He was an upholsterer for Ross Furniture for a number of years and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He is survived by two sons, David Frank Overcash of Thomasville and Kent Allen Overcash of Statesville. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Troutman Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Reep officiating. At other times, the family will assemble at the residence at 3252 Amity Hill Road in Statesville.
