Frances Almond Eudy, 83, of Mocksville, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2026, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
She was born December 20, 1942, in Stanly County, to the late David Monroe Almond and Myrtle Lambert Almond.
Frances was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She was a loving and wonderful mother whose life revolved around her family. Later in life, her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lamar Ellis Eudy.
Those left to cherish Frances’ memory are her three children, Lyndall Eudy of Mooresville, Tammy Eudy Seaford (Chip) of Mocksville, and Allen Eudy (Olga) of Clemmons, and her sister, Gaynelle Thompson.
She is further survived by her grandchildren, Dustin Seaford (Megan), Megan Godbey (Brandon) and Caden Seaford; seven great-grandchildren; a 32-year-old parrot named Sam, and a border collie named Chase.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 5 at Hebron Baptist Church, with Rev. Darren Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville NC 28625, or Hebron Baptist Church, 175 Hebron Road, Statesville NC 28625.
