Frances Bowers (Rinehardt) Baker

Mrs. Frances Rinehardt Bowers Baker, 90, of Statesville, passed away, Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Brookdale Peachtree.

Mrs. Baker was born March 12, 1929 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late David Levi and Bertha Louise Caldwell Rinehardt. She was a graduate of Iredell County schools and was married to the late Ray Bowers and Louis “Bill” Baker. She previously was a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church and later First Baptist Church. She also previously worked for Revco Drug Store and Belk.

She is survived by one son, Donnie Edward Bowers of Statesville and three grandchildren, Matthew Ray Bowers, Joshua Edward Bowers, Katherine Hedrick and one great grandson, Kyler Nicholas Bowers. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, David Ray Bowers and two brothers, David Rinehardt and Herman Rinehardt.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Brian Eades officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.troutmanfuneralhome.com
