Elizabeth Stewart

Elizabeth Kathryn Lambert Stewart, 82, of Statesville, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Elizabeth was born on January 4, 1942, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Clain David Lambert and Eva Dishman Lambert. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Elizabeth loved the Lord and was a proud cancer survivor. More than anything, she loved being Austin’s grandma.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her sisters, Lottie Myers, Mary Robinson, Martha Elmore, Nova Speece, Sue Robertson and Pauline Allen and brother, Clyde Lambert.

Those left to cherish Elizabeth’s memory include the father of her children, Carlous Stewart, daughter, Lisa Troutman (Bradley) and grandson, Austin Troutman.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Jason Bost officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
