Eleanor Elaine Bergner

Eleanor Elaine Bergner, 80, of Porter Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Statesville.

Eleanor was born to the late Joseph Maziarz and Pauline Maziarz in Buffalo New York on April 20, 1942.  She attended South Park High School in Buffalo, New York and shortly after married John Joseph Bergner on September 2, 1961, who survives.  She was a Food Service Technician at Nichols School and also attended Grace Church in Porter, Texas.

Along with her husband, Eleanor is survived by one daughter, Sandra E. Snyder (William) and one son, John Joseph Bergner Jr. (Gena).  She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Christopher, Cory, John III, Bryan, and Leah and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Rhys, and her sister, Joyce Witryk.  In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her brother, Thomas Maziarz.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00, Saturday, July 2 at Concord Presbyterian Church 3867 Taylorsville Hwy Statesville NC with Rev. Liz Troyer officiating.
