Edwin Alejandro Rogers

Edwin Alejandro Rogers, 16, of Harmony, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, May 19, 2019 in an automobile accident.

Edwin was born January 25, 2003 in Camp Lejeune, NC and was the son of Brian Hugh Rogers (Nicole) of Harmony, NC and Jessica Patricia Hannivig of Statesville. He was a sophomore at North Iredell High School and a member of The Cove. Edwin loved music, the NIHS Marching Band, his church, Hawaiian shirts, practical jokes and his little brother, Conner.

In addition to his parents, Edwin is survived by one little brother, Conner Rogers of Harmony; paternal grandparents, David and Donna Laney of Statesville, maternal grandparents, Nucsy and Andrew Bonanno of Statesville and step-grandparents, Dennis and Lou Targia of Statesville.

A celebration of life service will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm Saturday, May 25, 2019 at The Cove in Statesville with Pastor David Porter officiating. At Edwin’s request, everyone please wear a Hawaiian or colorful shirt.
