Edna Baucom Hudspeth

Dec. 9, 1937 - May 10, 2015 Edna Baucom Hudspeth, 77, formerly of Statesville, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015. She was born in Union County to the late Ruth Williams and James Conley Baucom. She was a retired C.N.A. She is survived by her sister, Willie (Eldridge) Furr of Albemarle; brother, Ernest (Doris) Baucom of Monroe; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Hudspeth; brother, James Clanton Baucom, and sister, Elizabeth B. Price. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Statesville. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Beau Mills officiating. Interment will follow the service in Iredell Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, P.O. Box 444, Troutman, NC 28166.
