Earlene Shoemaker Lindley

Earlene Shomaker Lindley, 85, of Statesville, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at Autumn Care of Statesville.

Earlene was born April 4, 1940, in Iredell County, to the late Roy and Mattie Shoemaker. She enjoyed crafting, coloring, working crossword puzzles and watching westerns. She dearly loved her family and her dog.

In addition to her parents, Earlene was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Lindley her sister, Irene Shoemaker and her former husband, Herbert “Hub” Lindley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tina L. Bogle (Mark) of Statesville; son, Randy L. Lindley (Diane Hensley, fiancé); niece, Vickie Chapman; nephews, Freddie, Joe and Jerry Shoemaker; and her roommate and special friend, Joan Long.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 26, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
