Dwight Moore, 75, of Troutman, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born in Wilkes County on December 18, 1935, the son of the late Talmadge D. and Gertude Souther Moore. He is survived by two brothers, DeWitt Moore (Margaret) and Junior Moore; and a sister, Iva Lee Queen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chester H. Moore and two sisters, Ruby Moore and Geneva Compton. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 at Iredell Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Paul Childers officiating.
