Doyle Wayne Stikeleather

Doyle Wayne Stikeleather, 52, of Troutman passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at his home. Born on April 20, 1958, Doyle was the son of J. B. and Catherine Pryor Stikeleather. He was a self-employed carpenter who served our country in the U. S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Heather Yvonne Stikeleather and her fiancé, Michael Fleming, of Troutman; one brother, Charles Richard Stikeleather of Statesville; and two grandchildren, Austin Lee Stikeleather and Trever Michael Fleming of Troutman. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Harvey Stikeleather. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Troutman with the Rev. Matthew Miller, the Rev. Mike Maffucci and Vicar Diane Bowker officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow the service at Iredell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 at the church prior to the service. Donations in Doyle’s memory may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Expansion Fund, P. O.
