Dorothy Tevepaugh

Dorothy Ann Bost Tevepaugh, 96, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Dorothy was born in Iredell County on November 14, 1928, to the late C.M. Bost and Lula Bost. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church for 38 years. She loved her church. She was a member of the widow’s group, and she served in the church nursery.

She worked as a secretary for Bernhardt Furniture and as a home health CNA for Iredell Memorial.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Lee Tevepaugh, Jr.; daughter, Alisa Hepler; 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Terry Tevepaugh (Carol), and Dennis Tevepaugh; grandchildren, Lauri Hoffman (Warren), Tricia Patton (Mark), Russell Hepler, Alex Woodard, and Kristin Ortiz (Josh); 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 2 at 3:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
