Doris Faye (Roberts) Hedrick

Doris Faye Roberts Hedrick, 76, of Statesville, passed away February 9, 2024 at Gordon Hospice House.

Doris was born in Iredell County on September 3, 1947 to the late Carl Crutchfield Roberts and Mendie Cleo Mitchell Roberts. Doris was a graduate of Scotts High School and was a member of Grace Alliance Fellowship Church where she enjoyed attending Bible Study.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Henderson and brother, David Roberts. Those left to cherish her memory, are her husband of 57 years, Gene Hedrick, their sons, David Hedrick Jr. and Doug Hedrick (Carrie); three grandsons, David Hedrick III (Deliberate), Michael Hedrick (Laci), and Owen Hedrick; and four great grandsons, Aaron, Josh, Bryson, and Ezekiel. She is further survived by her brother and sisters, Janie Moore, Carolyn Triplette, Burlie Roberts (Peggy), and Mariam Goodin (Jerry).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Troutman Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Wall officiating.
