Donna Kay Morris

March 2, 1980 - October 23, 2018 Donna Kay Morris, 38, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from complications of the heart. Donna was born on March 2, 1980 in Rochester, NY. She was very athletic in high school and enjoyed competing in track, swimming, and ice-skating. She loved listening to music of all kinds, including R&B, hip-hop, country, and 80s rock. Donna was a compassionate and kind-hearted person. More than anything, she loved and cherished her family. She will always be remembered for being an amazing wife, mother, sister, and daughter. Donna is survived by her beloved husband of 8 years, Jason Dean; sons, Jose Morris, Richard Morris, and Juan Morris; daughter, Savannah Stamey; parents, Bruce Brown Sr. and Sandra Brown; sisters, Patty Joaquin-Brown and Crystal Brown; brother, Bruce (Lindsay) Brown Jr., cousins, Kari Gregg, Joey Gregg, and Roxeanne Houser, and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews all who will miss her dearly.
