Dillon James Slone

Dillon James Slone, 17, of Troutman passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. Born in Iredell County, Dillon was the son of Tammy Warrick and Donald R. Slone. He was a loving son and brother who enjoyed playing the guitar, video games and hanging out with friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Alex Ray Slone and wife, Anne; grandparents, Barbara Nelson and Carol and Avery Slone; aunts, Debbie Frye, Trisha Slone and Vicki Slone; uncle, Mitchell Warrick; nephew, Bryson Wayne Slone; and cousins, Josh and Jerry Benfield, Ricky and Eric Ciampenella, Jeremy Cook and Michael Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Warrick. A visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. at Troutman Church of God, Troutman, on Thursday, July 1, 2010. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Connor Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Iredell Memorial Park.
