Diane Wiles

Diane Wiles, 56, of Statesville, passed away, Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at the Gordon Hospice House following a courageous battle with cancer.

Diane was born February 14, 1963 in Statesville and was the daughter of Dan Graham Wiles, Sr. and Mary Josey Wiles. She was a 1981 graduate of West Iredell High School and received her degree in Early Childhood Education from Mitchell College. She was a Director of Day Care Operations and later worked for Leggitt-Platt in Statesville. She was a member of Front Street Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Crystal Hanes (Jake) of Lexington, NC, Summer Wiles (George Corza) of Statesville; one sister, Debbie Poole (Dale) of Statesville; one brother, Danny G. Wiles, Jr. (Becky) of Statesville and a number of nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Front Street Baptist Church with Rev. Darren Johnson and Rev. Troy Skora officiating. The family will receive friends 1:30-3:00 pm Saturday before the memorial service at the church and at other times will assemble at the home of her parents, Mary & Dan Wiles, 154 Ashbrook Rd., Statesville, NC.
