Dawn (Bailey) Settlemyre

Dawn Bailey Settlemyre, aged 47, of Statesville, NC, passed away on November 17, 2024. Born on April 15, 1977, Dawn was known for her humorous, loving, nurturing, and honest nature.

Dawn leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love, her daughter, Savannah Alley; son, Tyler Briggs; grandsons, Dalton Jacob and Syris Blackwell, Finley Briggs, and Maxwell Briggs; two sisters, Lisa Trivette and Cassidy Bailey; and a brother, Danny Bailey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rhonda Williamson; father, Pete Bailey; and brother, Shane Bailey.

Dawn's zest for life was evident in her love for the beach and music, always seeking joy and a good time. Her vibrant spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

A service to honor Dawn's life will be held at Troutman Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26th at 5:00 pm.
