David Throneburg

David Bruce Throneburg, 71, of Statesville, NC passed away Sunday, May 23, 2022, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Mr. Throneburg was born July 11, 1950, in Catawba County, NC and was the son of the late Bob and Floy Honeycutt Throneburg.  David graduated from St. Stephens High School and was employed with Commscope Trucking and also worked as a brick mason.  On July 7, 1990, David married Karen Hensley Throneburg and together they shared more than 30 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughter, Toni Burke, his brother, Mike Throneburg, his grandchildren, Hope Burke, Christian Burke, Jordan McCray and Jasmine McCray.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
