David Gordon Campbell

David Gordon Campbell, 59, of Statesville, passed away. Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Gordon Hospice House.

Mr. Campbell was born March 16, 1963, in Iredell County, the son of Everette C. Campbell and the late, Lillian Dishman Campbell.  David graduated from Statesville High School and was enjoying retirement with his grandkids.  He was a NASCAR fan and also, enjoyed watching sports and the History channel, he liked being outside and doing yardwork, and especially loved the mountains.

In addition to his father, Everette, Mr. Campbell is survived by his son, Matthew Campbell, his daughter, Ashley Campbell, his grandchildren: Chloёigh Campbell, Israel Jordan Campbell, Olivia Dempsey, Colton Dempsey, his brothers, Kenneth Campbell and Wayne Campbell, and his sister, Diane Foard.

A graveside service celebrating the life of David Campbell will be conducted Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 11:00 am, Oakwood Cemetery, with Greg Justus officiating.
