Dana Judson Coley

Dana Judson Coley, 61, of Statesville, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Gordon Hospice House.

Dana was born and raised in Statesville, graduated from North Iredell High School in 1980 and attended Catawba College in Salisbury. He was a sports enthusiast, having played football at North Iredell and Catawba College. He was disability retired from NGK Mooresville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Melton Coley.

Dana is survived by his mother, Gwen Anderson Coley, brother, Darrin Anderson Coley, uncle and aunt, Allen and Jaye Lippard along with numerous cousins. Additionally, his best friend and fur baby, Brooklyn.

He enjoyed time with his friends at the 33 1/3 record shop downtown and attended Fairview Baptist Church.

Memorial service will be conducted 12:00 pm, noon on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Scott Eanes and Rev. Paull Hill officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church.
