Colen Paul Miller

March 14, 1934 - August 26, 2016 Mr. Colen Paul Miller, 82, formerly of Troutman, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Community Hospice in Mocksville. He was born March 14, 1934 in Iredell County to the late Eunice and Guy Miller. He was employed as a machinist for NL Fasteners (formerly Southern Screw) for 25 years. He also worked for Romar Metals and was a gunsmith. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing, and was a competitive shooter. He will be remembered for being a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his son, Curtis Miller of Belmont; grandson, John Curtis Miller; granddaughter, Jeanie Elizabeth Miller; and his three sisters, Doris Nixon, Barbara Waugh, and Harriet Souther. The family will receive friends at Troutman Funeral Home on Wednesday August 31, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Troutman with Rev.
