Clark Halbert Frye

Clark Halbert Frye, 60, of Statesville, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Clark was born on May 25, 1966, in Iredell County to the late Gary Theodore Frye and Darlene King Frye, who survives.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish Clark’s memory are his brothers, Mark Frye (Jennifer) and Preston “Shorty” Frye (Melanie); nieces and nephews, Hailey Simmons (Shaun), Paige Woodside (Alec), Payton Hendershot (Dylan), and Lainie Matthews (Brayson), and Charlie Frye; great-nieces and great-nephews, Lira Simmons, Callie Woodside, Phoebe Hendershot, Evelyn Matthews, Sophie Woodside, August Simmons and Daphne Hendershot.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 17, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael Pharr and Chaplain Brad Borders officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
