Cheri Caldwell

Cheri Ann Waugh Caldwell, 63 of Statesville, NC passed away at her home on June 6, 2024. She was born in Alliance, Ohio on January 18, 1961, to Arthur Allen Waugh and Dixie Zurbrugg Waugh.

She obtained her degree from Mitchell Community College and Gardner Webb University with high honors.  Cheri was a firm believer in the Lord and was of Christian faith.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gregory Scot Caldwell; two sons, Glenn Allen Caldwell (Dawn) and Brian Scott Caldwell (Ashley); her grandchildren, Gretchin Howell, Joanna “Jo-Jo” Howell, Allison Caldwell, Annie Caldwell, Frankie Caldwell, and Charlie Caldwell; two brothers, Greg Waugh (Linda) and Jeff Waugh; and three sisters, Lori Hobbs (Steve), Kathy Leonard (David), and Lisa Duke (Andy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Cheri’s request, there will be no services.
