Catherine (Bell) Danner

Catherine Bell Danner, 92 of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

Mrs. Danner was born January 24, 1930, in Catawba County the daughter of the late Wilford Fletch Bell and Mary Church Bell.  Catherine was a 1948 graduate of Harmony High School, a loyal member of Hebron Baptist Church, and was a professional seamstress.  She was married to Richard Danner, Jr. who preceded her in death in 2021.

Along with her husband and parents Catherine was preceded in death by her siblings, Lucille Johnson, Margaret Bell, Dorothy Mitchell, Ralph Bell and Ray Bell.

Those left to cherish the life and memory of Mrs. Danner include her son Garry Danner (Becky), daughter, Cathy D. Johnson (Larry), granddaughters, Katie Danner, Maggie D. Scott (Von), Stacy Johnson and Heather J. Chenevey (Andy), great grandchildren, Heath Scott, Ruthie Scott, Levi Chenevey, Charlie Chenevey, Nora Chenevey, her sisters, Bettie Gatton, Ruby Frazier, Carol Holdsclaw and her brother, L.W. Bell.

A funeral service celebrating Catherine’s life will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Hebron Baptist Church, Reverend Darren Johnson will officiate.  The family will visit with friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral.   Online condolences may be made to the Danner family at www.troutmanfuneralhome.com
