Carrie Jane Rumple Caudle

Carrie Jane Rumple Caudle, 95, of Statesville, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Carrie was born on July 7, 1931, in Wilkes County to the late William Daniel Rumple and Hattie Armstrong Rumple. She graduated from Ronda High School in 1949 and was a faithful member of Monticello Baptist Church. Throughout her life, Carrie was known for her quiet faith, steadfast devotion, and the values she carried with grace and dignity.

In addition to her parents, Carrie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Phares Nelson Caudle; a daughter, Phyllis Caudle; as well as ten siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Alan Caudle; Rodney Caudle (Cindy), and Douglas Caudle (Angela); her daughter, Joy Chapman (Donnie); seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, August 6 in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Terry Rausch officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville NC 28625.
