Carolyn Mills Hartness

Carolyn Mills Hartness, 57, of Troutman, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Gordon Hospice House. She was born in Iredell County on December 17, 1954 to the late William Thomas and Betty Jean Mills. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School and had a career as a waitress. She is survived by her daughter, Tara M. Castorena (Luis); sister, Debbie M. Perry; two grandchildren, Alexis and Landon Castorena; special niece and nephews, Crystal Douglas (Ryan), David Perry (Tracie) and Will Perry (Amanda); great niece and nephews, Mary-Ryan Douglas, David Douglas, Ayden Perry and Mylen Perry; and special friends, Penny McCullen, Betty Campbell (Mom), Cheryl Parsons, Melina Day and Michelle McCrary. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Fallstown Baptist Church. A memorial service to honor her life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
